Business Fast Track To Your Green Card: US immigration has created excellent visa opportunities to attract small and large businesses to the US. For example, if you would like to open up a branch in the US you could qualify for an intra-company transfer visa. This visa is available even where the US branch does not exist yet, but where the plan is to open a branch right away. Once you have been granted this visa, US immigration has also made it easy for you to stay by allowing this type of visa to be upgradeable to a green card.
Spouses Of Intra-Company Transferees: Spouses of transferees are guaranteed the right to work by law. Spouses do not even need to have any educational qualifications. If the transferee upgrades to a green card then the family will also get green cards. If the spouse is offered and takes green card sponsorship from their employer, by extension, the entire family will ultimately receive green cards.
Conditions: Remember, I can only give you an overview as to some of the conditions as these will vary according to specific cases. The main requirements are that the applicant must keep their home business going (at least until they get their green cards), and the US company will be a genuine branch of the home company. Also, the home company must have sufficient resources to fully fund the US branch until it becomes viable in its own right. Notice that the US branch is not required to produce any jobs for US citizens although the creation of US jobs would strengthen any application.
Existing US Branch: If you are currently working for a multi-national company with a branch in the US you can seek to get yourself transferred to that branch. The same benefits outlined above are applicable in this case too.
