Processing Times

The new electronic filing system has reduced the labor certification processing times from a year and a half down to two-four months. However, once the labor certification has been approved. The alien must still wait until an actual visa is available. For EB1 and EB2 workers these visas will probably be available right away. However, for EB3 workers the wait could still be some years away. For the latest government information on this go to http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html and select ‘visa bulletins‘.
