The E2 Treaty Trader visa also known as the E2 visa is perhaps one of the most popular visa options out there. Many of our clients have trouble finding a US sponsor to relocate because the sponsor has to be either an employer of an immediate family member.

The family member in reality must be your own US citizen child, if you have one; as only this type of relationship allows relocation within a reasonable time frame. For example a US citizen sponsoring a sibling currently takes around 10 years.

Faced with these challenges, as long as you can raise sufficient capital to buy or start your own business, you can relocate on your own terms within your own time frame, there’s no delay beyond a few months of red tape.
